Effect: Stops short term (acute) diarrhoea when diet and fluid replacement are not sufficient. Dosage (adults): Initial dose 2 tablets, then 1 tablet after each unformed stool, max. 4 tablets day. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age; do not use in case of fever, bloody stools, antibiotic associated diarrhoea or chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Important
