I’m Steffani. Mother to one daughter, age 6, and two sons, ages 4 and 2.

I finally got sick of carrying around all of my extra baby weight and decided to do something about it.

I started working out at Crossfit East Redlands in July of 2013.  I was able to do a rope climb after about 2 months!

Now I have never had very  much upper body strength and I can now do a kipping pull up and am very close to doing a strict pull up.

I never thought I would see the day when I could do a pull up (of any kind!)

I stay fit thru working out, playing with my kids, and eating healthy.

Join me on my journey to stay fit with all my kids along for the ride!

    How fun to find you! I’m relatively new to blogging but I’m blown away by how many other fit mamas there are out there. Motherhood can often feel isolating (especially when you’re trying to make fitness a priority and the neighbors think of you as a circus freak) but after starting my blog I’ve realized how many of us there are out there.     I just happened on your site from a comment on back in skinny jeans. Noticed you are into cycling:) I have a question for you. I enjoy taking spinning classes and am considering buying my own spinning bike. Do you know much about them or could you direct me to any resources that you know of? I know they are a pretty hefty investment, but I’ve seen a wide variety of prices and brands, so I’m curious about my options.

    Knee inflammation – I’d like to recommend the http://store.tptherapy.com/
    for the Quadballer, or even the Total body Kit. Bilateral knee issues vanished (after a lot of sweating and pain upon said Quadballer – ouch! but it’s worth it!)
    and the TP ball works piriformis miracles I did not know I needed.

    Just became certified as a personal trainer myself (NASM). Now trying to get clients and work. Fun. Good luck with your yoga.

    I do not run (more than a minute during my HIIT) but I love, love, love working with weights. I kinda envy you folks who can take your workouts out on the road easily.

    Thanks for sharing your experience! It truly is motivating to see a mother working out that looks really good. I always had a hard time finding articles or some other workout sites where a lot of them do not have kids and I feel they do not understand what a slowed down metabolism is. So thanks for the motivation to keep me moving forward to reaching my goal into being healthy, in shape, while doing that with my family.

    Hi Rachel. I am grateful for finding your informativ blog for the reason that i am on my way to become much more fitter and healthier. I have been suffering from upper pain back which is related to my daily sitting work job. Since i do a lot more activities the pain is almost gone and now i am on my way to build up a fit body aswell as live more healthier. Your blog shares lots of great informations. Thanks for that!
