I’m Rachel. Mother of 2 boys ages 6 and 3. Married to Paul.
I am an athlete. In my twenty years since graduating high school, I’ve been a marathon runner, bike racer, an am now an avid cross fitter. Fit Mom’s Blog was created with the intention of sharing what I’ve learned being an athlete. If I could offer one piece of inspiration, it would be that being fit is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and it’s a great way to live!
We are a Fit Family! As a family we enjoy cross country skiing, cycling, and pretty much anything that involves “activity” for our young boys. Flying paper airplanes for hours on end counts as activity for us!
Together with some of my truly amazing fit mom friends, I focus on getting a workout in with kids or without! This is one of my all time favorites, as we are sprinting all out each with two kids in tow! (I’m on the left).

My Day Job:
Teaching Physical Education and Yoga to kids ages 18 months to 12 years old at my kid’s school.
