“Elizabeth”

is one of my very favorite workouts ever.

It involves Ring Dips and Cleans. This workout brings up lots of memories both good and bad about doing it. For those of you who don’t know, the rep scheme is 21-15-9 of Ring Dips and full squat cleans at 95 pounds for women. I have been able to do this workout as prescribed for a long time. I remember when my coach was Right There encouraging me to finish the workout and to get lots of reps in a row. Those were the intensity days that I look back on fondly {it’s been almost 4 years since we started CrossFit}.
Back in the day, there was a group of us who all started CrossFit at the same time and have kind of “grown up” in the last few years together. One has opened his own box, several train at different boxes, but all of us, have been able to remain in contact and still be friends. I am proud to say that these people got up at 5AM yesterday to come do a workout with me, for my birthday! And, I had asked to do “Elizabeth” which is absolutely not the easiest thing in the world!

Thank you, thank you and thank you! I’m incredibly thankful for each and every one of you and I’m proud to call you friends. It was a special birthday for me!
