These infographics are becoming incredibly popular and are very effective.
At the moment, we as a family & in our community are not THAT effected by these statistics, however, obesity surrounds us. Our school has a “farm to table” program, we pack fruits and veggies for lunches, I offer cooking classes, and there are no soft drinks in our house or at school.
I, however, am not immune to the treats that are all around my kids (namely the super sugary chocolate milks that my youngest wants to drink daily) or how much sugar they get to consume if I even turn my back.
Or how many Red Bulls, Monster Drinks, etc are consumed by the teachers on my campus daily.
Or, how can I influence my overweight friends to change their habits?! I think they look at me and think they’ll never be able to do that.
Friends, it’s a decision YOU MAKE to change your life.
Start with CLEAN, HEALTHY FOOD.
CUT OUT SUGAR, DAIRY, & GRAINS
Take a walk daily.
Seek out the healthy, happy people and pick their brains on how and what they eat.
Comments, suggestions?! Let’s hear it.

I definitely see where you are coming from with the daily walking, etc … I try to stay as fit as a I can while having to juggle school work, internship, and part-time jobs. So, although I may not be a mother … yet, I am pretty busy but find time to work out. You should tell your friends that once they get started on leading a healthier and more active lifestyle, they won’t be able to stop. They just have to do it a couple of times to get into the habit and it’s all easy from there. I personally got started on my fitness by working out at home, I started using this workout bar called,
Fitryo Total Bar and once I got stronger and toned my body, I started running and eating healthy. Hope this helps, you should try out the bar and have your friends take a look as well!
