People, I like to cook. It’s always been a strength of mine. Before CrossFit, I’d cook serious quantities of Italian food such as risotto, pasta, breads, cookies, you name it, I’ve probably made it. I’m not afraid of getting in the kitchen and getting my hands dirty- nor am I afraid of destroying my kitchen, which is what I did today. The goal today, however, was to prepare 4-5 completely “paleo” friendly meals- which means no sugar, no wheat, and no dairy. Sounds tricky, but, it was not!

Interestingly, we used the food processor A LOT. To grind down lots of cauliflower to make “rice” and nuts for the pizza crust! My friend and I worked quite fast and we’re able to conquer 4 out of the 5 recipes in three hours all the while our children ran amongst us!
So, upon completion of my big afternoon project, wonder what I did?! I called my neighbors over to sample all recipes. They were a huge hit! Even with my kids, who got to eat the “pizza” loved it.
If we were to repeat this again, which I think we will, we’d split the recipes by the person so that we don’t buy duplicate items, and remember to have enough casserole dishes for all dishes!
