Best Way to Improve Your Upper Body Strength

My kids and I love doing handstands.  In fact, if you’re a long time reader, you’ll know that I only learned how to get in a handstand last year, 2009, during my yoga training.  Wow. Seems like a long time ago!  Here’s a photo to refresh your memory.

In 2010, it’s been about improving my upper body strength so that I may perform a handstand push-up- SERIOUS work here people.

The good news is that my children love to practice with me in our garage.  Below is a video of my youngest and me, practicing a handstand off a box.  (Mine is 28″ high and his is 11″).  {Complete with my oldests’ commentary!!}

    My kids’ homework includes cooking, setting the table and making their own lunches!
