New Contest: Mary Winsor’s Slimming Pilates

July 14th, 2010 · 101 Comments

Yep, you read that right, I am giving away one complete set of Mary Winsor’s Slimming Pilates system (retail value $59.99)!    It comes with 3 DVD’s and an Accelerator (a bar with straps to provide resistance).  If you’re a regular here, you know I am heavily interested in Cross Fit at the moment, but, a few years back, I loved Pilates. Pilates works your body differently from any other activity.    You can increase your strength with a Pilates program.    In conjunction with a good diet (there is a nutrition program included), the Winsor Slimming Pilates would be a great way to get in shape!

Here are the details from the website:

  1. It works fast! Take off 10 inches in just two weeks!
  2. Seamless Transitioning ™ is a revolutionary new technique which gives you that long, lean, sculpted Pilates body while burning fat and slimming down in less time
  3. Ramp up your metabolism for a “continuous burn effect” so you’ll burn fat 24/7, even while you sleep.
  4. The Accelerator gives you the resistance, range of motion, and muscle sculpting of a Pilates Reformer and Cadillac — machines that can cost thousands of dollars — plus the toning and shaping movements of Pilates mat exercises right in your home.
  5. Convenient, compact and portable, this system goes anywhere so you never have to miss a workout.
  6. Included door attachment is easy-on-easy-off and makes the Accelerator a total home gym with 25 different uses that allow you to do 200 exercises.
  7. No bouncing, jarring or stress to your body. Anyone can do it and everyone can achieve amazing results. Pilates offers the ideal form of exercise for every body.
  8. Feel taller, slimmer and more sculpted. Pilates gives exactly the look you want without adding bulk.
  9. Mari’s Rapid Results Weight Loss Plan gives you everything you need to totally transform your body and lose 10 inches in just two weeks, including her incredible Eat More, Weigh Less Meal Planner!
  10. It keeps working! Mari’s created a series of all-new high-energy DVD workouts. Each DVD, each workout, each exercise is completely focused on getting you great results in less time.

HOW CAN YOU WIN?
Simply leave a comment about your current exercise routines and you will be entered to win.  Winner will be drawn at random on Sunday, July 18th at 9pm.  Winner’s must reside in the U.S.

P.S.  This contest is for you.  I have not reviewed nor received any of these DVD’s.

My current workout plan is running, however since having some medical issues in June I haven’t been able to do that. I had an old pilates vhs years ago and liked doing that. Thanks for the chance!

Right now I am doing the treadmill in the morning and some aerobics and cardio at night. I have never tried Yoga or Pilates so I think this would be great!!

  • 3 Kim R // Jul 14, 2010 at 3:51 pm

Right now I run three days a week and practice power yoga three days a week. I love Pilates. I still do many of the Pilate exercises on my running days.

  • 4 Cristy // Jul 14, 2010 at 5:53 pm

Right now I am getting back into the groove of my workout schedule (I had a little “vacation” from exercise) and I am lifting weights 2 or 3 days a week.
