Yep. That’s me. On the rower in the first round of the four round WOD #1. My stats on the rower were good, here…under 2 minutes for a 500meter row, but, it only lasted the first round!

My judge and “coach” for this WOD was one of our trainers, Estaban. He was there to count my reps, make sure that I met all the movement standards and also to kind of coach me through that tough workout. It was really great to have him right there telling me “DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE…” it was like having a personal coach with me throughout.

I managed all 4 rounds of the 75 pound thrusters! It felt heavy, but, I wasn’t failing at the weight, so I guess, I mean it was manageable.
As far as my competition goes, I have no idea where I stand or if I’ll go to the Invitational or not. The bottom line is that I had a blast competing again. There was nothing left of me of the end of the third event and I am RIDICULOUSLY sore! It was great to get out there and give it all I’ve got, and it is WAY harder than any running/cycling/triathlon events I have ever done.
Thanks to all my friends for cheering me on at the box and online. I’m grateful for all the support!
Competing Again & Lovin’ It!

Can you post what you eat when you have more time to prepare on the zone? Do you eat salads for lunch?
