Depends on the day, but, generally, I race home and shower As Fast As Possible! If I happen to be wearing cotton on that day, I may shed a layer, add a jacket and race home and shower. There are few days when I might treat myself to a coffee before arrivng at home, and I just go in sweaty and proud! Thinking, “my workout was just harder than anything I’ll ever do again, and I am going to treat myself to a sugar-free capuccino….” upon arrival at home, I wake the children and scare them with my stench and then race off to the shower!
And, lately, I always follow my workout with a fruit smoothie! As long as it has protien powder and fruit, I consider it a Zone smoothie.
For those of you who go straight back to work following your workout, I’m curious, what products do you use for your hair, make-up and showerless clean up? I am still a fan of Action Wipes {“Your face is not a baby’s butt. Don’t wipe it like one.”} for post workout clean up, but, other than that, I have no favorites in this department!

My post workout routine after a long run on Sunday is:
1 – glass of milk with chocolate syrup
2 – shower
3 – real food
4 – Using the next hour or two to get chores and what not done, before I crash and need a nap!
