Enjoying Life in Monterey….

April 17th, 2010 · No Comments

This is our 13th year to the Sea Otter Classic! Wow, how time flies. My husband and I first started coming here as a younger dating couple and now we are back feeling old with our two kids ages 6 and 4. Pictured above is my 4 year old asleep with a Burger King hat– no we didn’t eat there, only a bathroom stop, but still managed to obtain the king hat.

Kim, CEO of Dude Girl is always here and her booth was my first stop of the day! Kids were happily JUMPING while I spent some time chatting and shopping Dude Girl! Her products will be in the upcoming Title Nine catalog!

Wondering…does driving a bicycle chariot around the expo qualify as exercise!?!

Timbuk2 had also designed a very slick bicycle display that allowed for spectators to ride a bike and the entire display spinned….meaning, if you rode it fast, the messenger bags flew off. My kid did exactly that over and over and over!

Finally, how does dark chocolate peanut butter sound to you?! So good, that one jar is going to last my family one week!?!?!

This leads me to Saturday…I had planned on complete rest for four days BUT, I am thinking that I will need some form of exercise tomorrow since I have been enjoying the sweets a little too much this trip! Or, at least a yoga podcast…

Don’t forget to enter the Weight Watchers contest! There will also be ten coupons for the runner’s up.
