What’s Your Favorite Skincare Product?

January 26th, 2010 · 8 Comments

Being that if you’re reading this, you are probably an athlete, I would assume that most of us have our personal favs in the skincare department, right?!!

I’m looking for a super, duper hand cream.  (have you seen my hands lately?)

I’m looking for a moisturizing SPF daily cream for my face (reminder I teach 1-3 hours outside daily).

HAIRCARE:  This is a biggy for me.  Yes, I color my hair!  I also sweat every single day.  What products do you use to keep the color, but, also not have a sweaty grimy head.  Some hairdressers say- shampoo every day, some say every other day and one said only 2x per week?!?!?

Sure could use some advice in this department, thanks in advance!

for hands i use aquaphor, yes a bit greasy but really the only thing that keeps my hands NOT dry.

face spf – i use neutrogena with the helio, i hear it is the best for skin protection.

Norwegiean hand cream from nutrogena, kinda greasy but works, Corn Huskers lotion (great), and Bag Balm (kinda medicinal smelling but great).

Agree with the Norwegian hand cream! Also, I’ve heard good things about “dry shampoo” you can get at Sephora.com. Have never tried it, but might save you from washing every day.

Aquaphore is a good one. I also really like Lollia shea butter. It smells so good and is beautifully packaged (but pricey)

For hair, use L’Oreal Paris’s EverPure products. They are sulfate free and won’t strip the color from your hair.

For SPF, I love Murad Environmental Shield Essential-C Moisturizer.
    :)

I like to rub Burt’s Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme into my hands before bed each night. My skin is so dry, since I live in the desert… I’m always looking for something to soothe them. Plus, it smells wonderful.

You have to try Moroccan Oil for your hair. It’s amazing! It makes my hair so shiny and soft and smells absolutely delightful.
