So, last Saturday, I had ONE major adventure waiting for me…My trainers decided we needed some hard core boot camp style work on a Saturday, so, guess what? We pulled a tractor! Below is a visual of our workout- complete with graphics.
1. Run with a kettlelbell 150 meters.
2. Swing the kettlebell for a complete round of Tabata (20 seconds, 10 seconds rest) for 8 rounds.
3. Pull Tractor up 150 meters.
4. Run back and get the kettlebell and run it back up to meet the tractor.
5. Complete 8 rounds of a weighted squat with the kettlebell in hand (Tabata style).
6. Pull Tractor up 50 meters.
7. Begin to haul the massive numbers of sand bags up to the truck.
8. Clean and jerk the sand bags into the truck- until they are all gone.
The workout as it sounds doesn’t sound all bad, now. Hardest part for me was cleaning and jerking those sand bags into the tractor! I could get them up high enough, but, not INTO the tractor! As you can see in the picture below, we all lived to smile about it afterwards.
And, it wouldn’t be complete with a hug from one of my VERY SWEATY cross fit buddies!
This event was covered by the local news papers- but as of yet it’s not in the paper yet. I will add the link once it’s up!
