So, we are at the park. Kids are continuously running between the tire, the slide and the swing. Between their daddy and I, we can barely keep up. In between their boughts of running, I throw in a few exercises on the bars…just because.

Hang from the bar and bring legs up to parallel. It’s harder than it looks. My thighs always cramp in the position. The alternative would be to bring the knees into chest.

I also attempted to work on my “kipping pull-up”….

Then, there’s always the handstand practice. Up against a tree! I’m currently working on an unassisted handstand.

Finally, there’s always the SPRINT. Race the kids all around. It’s great. They think it’s all play, but, really everybody is getting their heart rate up and having fun!
All of these exercises have been taught to me by my Cross Fit trainers.
Last but not least is yoga. Every single day I do a Cross Fit workout, my body identifies a “new” muscle to me. I love it, however, on the off days of cross fit, there is mandatory yoga for me.
I hope you’ve all had an excellent holiday!
