The “Tall and Skinny” Guide to Trader Joe’s!

November 11th, 2009 · 2 Comments

If you read my original review of Cooking with Trader Joe’s, then, you’ll want this little gem as well.

Perfect to carry in your purse and head straight for the store.  Recipes are quick, easy, and cheap (by Trader Joe’s standards).    I love that most of the recipes have a prep time of less than 15 minutes and most have fewer than ten ingredients.  Makes shopping super easy.  Being a busy, working, want to eat healthy mom, this book is a must have! Some recipes that look especially delicious to me include: Pizza Bianca with Prosciutto and Asparagus, Peachy Quesadilla, or Spinach and Feta Stuffed Baby Portobellos!  Some of the recipes are repeats of Cooking with Trader Joe’s, some are brand new and there are a few that are almost too easy to call a recipe- such as just chicken (saute with olive oil, salt and pepper) but that’s just me.

You can purchase this cookbook online here for $10.04.

And, I highly recommend!

P.S. I received this cookbook as a sample.  Amazon is not an affiliate link.
