Second, I’m wondering what races you all have coming up? Care to share on your upcoming running/cycling/triathlon goals. Me? I need a kick in the arse to get me motivated to train seriously. It’s fall and it’d be a good time to COMMIT to something…and yet, middle of the week comes and I lose my steam. Main goal of most days is to just get a workout in- don’t care too much what, as long as it’s something!
Considering the Carlsbad Half and am open to other races…???

Anybody have any races or events they’d recommend? Still doing the Crystal Cove Trail Run in December, but, that’s almost too far away!?! Problem arises when looking at week’s work schedule of 30 hours ++ and demanding daily workouts for myself gets dicey.
Workout Goals for the Week:
Monday: Spin Class + Yoga
Tuesday: Trail Run
Wednesday: Yoga or Off
Thursday: Trail Run
Friday: Spin Class + Yoga
Saturday: Yoga
Sunday: Long run or ride

hmm I never really put together specific goals for the week, I think I just always know I will be active every day and then I see how my body feels each day. the only exception is Saturday and it’s always a long run and my body agrees

Funny. It’s a goal for me because I am so freakin’ busy all day every day. Today, I scored some extra cardio time by biking my kids home from school. It’s only 2 miles but it’s ALL UP HILL.
