If you are craving chocolate but are eliminating white sugar, this just might be your answer.  Raw and organic, sweetened with Agave Nectar and Date Sugar and mixed with Vanilla Bean, Organic Cacoa Powder, Organic Cacao Butter,  Organic Cacoa Nibs and Celtic Sea Salt– this stuff rocks my house!!  It arrived today in 100 degree temperatures to be slightly melted together, but, I just got out my spoon and went to town.  Freakin’ Delicious. I purchased mine after hearing about it via Skwigg and have it half eaten already.   Prolly the only problem for me is that it will not last long in my house and I won’t be sharing it!!

Pirate’s Booty was sent to us for a product review.  Came complete with a treasure chest packed with one of each of the flavors.  Delicious, healthy snack for kid’s lunches.  There is no HFCS or added sugars, made with natural ingredients;  my kids LOVED them!!  You can find in your local health food store or online.  We would definitely repurchase.

HEMP SHAKES: NUTIVA

Hemp protein is all the rage now- at least among vegetarians.  I’ve tried several brands and although I believe they are healthy for you, I haven’t yet found a brand that tasted REALLY GOOD..  Hemp protein has resembled grass, honestly.  I found Nutiva via the Health Ranger website as he apparently really likes these shakes.  After writing to them, they were kind enough to sent me a sampler packet of each of their Hemp Shakes {Berry Pomegranate, Chocolate and Acai Amazon}.   I was leary of trying them in fear that they would taste like grass, but, I was pleasantly surprised.  In fact, I was THRILLED. These are some seriously tasty shakes.  With 9grams of Protein, 3 grams of sugar, and 15 grams of carbohydrates,  I wouldn’t consider it a protein shake necesarrily..although by mixing it with Hemp Milk or Almond Milk, you can up your protein increase!
