I’m a sucker for free stuff. Subway was kind enough to send me two giftcards. One to go try out the new Tuscan Sandwhich and one $15 giftcard to giveaway! I’ll admit to never going to Subway unless on a road trip and that is the closest thing to healthy we can find. That’s an average of one stop per year.
Their veggie options have expanded since my last visit. I liked that I had a whole salad on my chicken on whole wheat. My kids had options for yogurt, apples, juice or milk with their meals. Next time, I’d probably prefer the chicken on a salad and skip the bread option- but, I was happy with what I got. Even had Iced Green Tea. Not bad. However, I just noticed on the website that even though the calorie count is low, the sodium count is very high in all the sandwhiches.
