Recently, I was given the opportunity to try out some of Moving Comfort’s products! I’m always game for that- especially in the jog bra and running shorts category. As most of you know, my current exercises include cycling, yoga and weight training- so no running.
The Alexis bra by Moving Comfort worked great for my activities. I’m currently teaching tennis as well and have needed a jog bra on an all day basis. This one is great! I was happy to get one that had support (the liner is made of Powermesh to provide breathability). My heart rate monitor fit nicely inside the elastic band of the bra and I liked the strappy part in the back. As far as washing it, no problems either. With the padding, things happen in the wash that might be annoying however, this one washed just fine.
This is an A/B (designed for high impact) for us small chested types and since I am not running right now, I can’t speak to the bounce problem. But, if I were you, I’d be sure to try on and test in the store before buying. Moving Comfort can be found at your local running store and are generally easy to find.
A note for my new readers, I am a huge fan of the running skirt. I have a bigger butt and have always attempted to “look good” or “hide” my larger assets. Also not a fan of chub rub, so have avoided running shorts in the past. So, with that in mind, let’s talk about Moving Comfort’s Endurance Short. First, of all, they look really cute, don’t you think? Love the pink and the strips on the sides. There is a 4 inch inseam and has a wide sized inner key pocket on the inside. In addition, there is a Coolmax polyester liner that did not ride up when I ran around the house. For those of you who love drawstrings, there is one of those too! As for the sizing, it seams pretty true to size. I possibly should have taken the next size up so that the material doesn’t sit on my thick thighs. But, then I’d be swimming in material. So, I’m happy with my choice. They are lightweight, the material is stretchy and there is a lot of mesh on the sides- you wouldn’t be hot in these! Any runners out there want to comment on how these shorts worked for running? I ‘ve been using them for weight training and have loved them.

I have been looking for a new jogging bra. I don’t have much so I don’t need a super supportive one. A lot of times I just use a normal older bra. I went on their website and I liked that Alexis is made for your A/B girl and I liked how it covers a bit more on the top part. So this one was my favorite over the rest.

I like the look of the Grace, but it doesn’t come in my size. My second favorite is the Helena, and it does come in my size! I especially like that the straps can be adjusted in front. I think my favorite color is the mint. Although black is very useful. Naw, the mint.
