From Maui to You

If you’re a regular in Yoga Journal, you’ll find lots of clothing for the yoga teacher, yoga participator, yoga for kids, etc…I was curious about Inner Waves since their ads always focused on the ocean. Turns out, the owners reside in Maui and are fulfilling their life dream. Living in paradise while doing something they love- designing yoga clothes and raising a family. What more could anyone want?

Inner Waves merges our passions of practicing yoga, designing comfortable clothing, creative inspiration and sustainable life enhancing choices. We hope our yoga clothing inspires you as it does us toward creating a healthy, organic future.

I recently purchased the Moana Pants and the Wailea top. Style, love. Fit, love. Color, Love. The pants are fitted and have a flare at the bottom. And, I appreciate the cotton insert so no undies are required. I like to keep things as simple as possible! Perfect pants for practicing yoga or teaching or enjoying life. From what little experience I have with organic cotton, I’m thinking that it is softer than regular cotton and feel a bit thinner than regular cotton. As far as price, this company rocks! You can get a complete outfit for around $50-$60 (from the Specials page) and you’re getting a quality product- not something that will fall apart with three washing…

My next purchase will be that strappy tank top pictured above. Anything that works as a top and a bra for $22 is a HIT for me. What would your next purchase be?

These are really nice, and is it just me, or does the Nani “beauty” look like it would be perfect for my long waist? I’m headed over to check out the site!
