I still use it all the time :) I had my problems with things like my gym bag and tennis shoes (I don't like putting them in the washing machine) I found Febreze SPORT the other day and LOVE IT!!!! I know it will pick it up from a nearby wet towel in a bag. Our stuff (mine and my wife's) gets stinky in the summer even when washed and fully dried. I tried to avoid the dryer when I can to help it last longer. Maybe sun drying or fully soaking with WIN (and multiple rinses/wrings) will help?
