My tri bike is now 11 years old. I can't bear the thought of replacing it (and because I don't ride/race enough to justify it), we've been through so many miles together... I have that issue of Women's Adventure and haven't checked out that article. I'm on it! But I should insert shameless self-promotion here: have my own byline in that issue--the Whole Health article on arthritis:-)

My Pearl Izumi compression shorts for running. I have SUCH a hard time finding shorts. My body shape is such that regular running shorts couldn't possibly be less flattering, so all I wear is compression shorts. It's completely impossible to find any I like - they have to have a 5 inch or longer inseam, good enough grippers so that they don't ride up, etc. Pearl Izumi has been the only brand that's made shorts I'm happy with.

My Garmin 405 - indispensable!

Balega socks.

I just read that article in Women's Adventure (One of my Fav. mags!) yesterday and was thinking the same thing.
Articles for me: favorite running shorts that are so faded from 500 washings. (Ran my first marathon years ago in them.) An old ski sweater that has holes in it , but I still take it on every trip.
I'll take an piece of fitness gear that has a memory connected to them over one that is brand new, almost every time!

PS: As always, I love your posts ( & I am only a Mom to horses).
