CamelBak Contest

Workout Mommy recently wrote some very good articles regarding BPA free water bottles. You can read them here or here. CamelBak is the first company to produce water bottles that are BPA free. They were kind enough to send me one plus an EXTRA one for YOU. It’s reusable, convenient, and slender to use. All they need are some kid size bottles and we will be set! I tend to keep my sugar-free post-workout recovery drink on ice and ready to go in my CamelBak. Love it!

On a side note: if any of you use their bladder system- they are already BPA free, so no need to replace.

    My favorite workout drink is still just plain old water. It’s just so refreshing. I’m a big fan of Gateorade too when I need something with a little more flavor.

    My favorite recovery drink is some zipfizz…but I do like water with lemon ice cubes. Still leaarning the best drink to use its a mystery which one is truly the best.

    While working out, I only use water. And, to be even more shocking, I generally use (gasp) tap water! Water at the gym, in the car, on the trail. (At home, I often go for Crystal Light.)

    I can only handle water during a workout, but a good ABS protein shake afterwards is a great muscle boost.

    Must be water- these days we just use tap water with a filter rather than pay for plastic disposable bottles, so this product would be perfect. Plus it won’t spill when it falls out of the diaper bag!

    Oh…I’ve been wanting one of these! Just switched to BPA free baby bottles and now I need one for myself!

    Hi, What a wonderful looking water bottle. My husband has been watching his caloric intake, exercising and drinking more water and the like.     When I work out, I prefer room temperature water. If I’m at home at just need a cool refreshment, I like chilled water with slices of fresh cucumber.

    Love water when I’m working out. Recently fell in love with Target’s Market pantry sugar free raspberry lemonade drink packets (like the Crystal Lite stuff you put in a water bottle).
    I love love love the Camelbak water bottles. They’re seriously the best around and I highly recommend them if you don’t win one :)

    When I’m walking - it’s just water for me - everything else is too… distracting? I also only drink water with meals. I save juices and milk etc. for when I’m *only* drinking.

    Love water as my first choice! On long training days or racing days I use lemon/lime Gatorade. Somtimes Cytomax (fruit flavor) works well for racing too although I dilute it a lot or it’s too sweet.

    One of the reasons why I work out is so that I can afford to drink the Coke I have immediately afterwards. I do try and get my share of water in as well, but you just can’t beat an icy cold Coke after a workout.

    Milk, either chocolate or plain lowfat, is the only recovery drink I use. It’s delicious and has the optimum ratio of carbs and protein, plus electrolytes. I drink a lot of water before, during and after I run, too.

    For my workouts, I only use water. Afterwards, I sometimes use a Crystal Light pour and go and put it in a bottle or glass of water or maybe even have a Diet Coke but during a workout, I only like plain old H2O.

    I enjoy water while I’m working out, chocolate milk afterwards.

    If it’s a major event, like a long bike ride, I have to have a big ice cold BEER immediately following. Nothing better.

    Ice water! I love the wide opening on this bottle, easy to fit in some ice. I am trying to be green, plus was worried about plastic, so I bought a SIGG bottle. The top is just too small for any ice but crushed, which melts too fast and is a lot of work to get in their. Clearly I need this :)

    I used to drink gatorade, but I now moved to either plain water or sometimes the propel flavored water since it has much fewer calories than gatorade.

    I admit that I secretly adore berry Propel. A few years back when it first came out, there were coupons in the Sunday paper for a free bottle. I ended up with a good dozen of them with everyone giving me their coupons. It was right after I first got my treadmill… oh how I loved having those Propels.

    Silly, I know. But I just love them, even if plain ol’ ice water is better for me (and I know cheaper, but a girl’s gotta have at least once vice)
