St. George here I come! October 4th 2008, first marathon for me since 2004. Saying my prayers for good health throughout this training period. My plan is to use Coach Al’s marathon plan along with Runner-Core to achieve a longtime goal of under 4 hours…

I just bought the Ascics Gel Cumulous 10. I tried on 8 pairs after finding out that I was running on nothing better than a pair of flip flops! Ugg, probably why my knees are inflammed right now.

Hooray!!! St George is so beautiful, make sure to book yourself a room at Red Mountain Spa as a treat for finishing.

yeah, just looked at my last few pairs and it looks like a pattern of major supination. How could I not have seen that before? weird. runner’s denial?

I have been exercising daily for over two decades. I avoid sugar and drink lots of water. I also get enough sleep! This helps keep me young.

I live in St. George & it IS beautiful. October isn’t that hot, especially if you finish before 11 am. Good luck!
