St. George here I come! October 4th 2008, first marathon for me since 2004. Saying my prayers for good health throughout this training period. My plan is to use Coach Al’s marathon plan along with Runner-Core to achieve a longtime goal of under 4 hours…

WOO-HOO Rachel! So excited for you! We can train together online :-) Mine is Nov 2nd so our schedule won’t be too far off. What sneaks do you wear? I think I need to get refitted…

I just bought the Ascics Gel Cumulous 10. I tried on 8 pairs after finding out that I was running on nothing better than a pair of flip flops! Ugg, probably why my knees are inflammed right now.

Hooray!!! St George is so beautiful, make sure to book yourself a room at Red Mountain Spa as a treat for finishing. :)

I have been exercising daily for over two decades. I avoid sugar and drink lots of water. I also get enough sleep! This helps keep me young.

Congrats! That’s a fun race. I love the course and the views along the way are spectacular. Don’t forget to take in the views!

I live in St. George & it IS beautiful. October isn’t that hot, especially if you finish before 11 am. Good luck!
