I just read on their website that all of their bottles will be BPA free as of 5/1/08. I guess I got one from the last bad batch!

these are great ideas, thanks! I just recently got the camelback water bottle--which I LOVE!!! and just realized it has the dreaded #7 on the bottom, which means it is made from recently recalled bpa plastic. I am so sad!

Is there anything similar out there?

i am a writer and work from coffee shops A LOT, but can't be plunking down $10 for a mayo-filled sandwich and a banana every day, so here's what I do: empty two packets plain instant oatmeal into a ziplock bag, along with a bit of brown sugar and a small handful craisins or dried cherries. At Starbucks, I'll ask for a grande cup of boiling water, half-way full. Empty contents into water, stir, add in a little skim milk, and in 2 minutes, I've got delish, filling oatmeal. I literally do this so often, the baristas see me come up and go, "Oatmeal time?" I save the ziplock and refill later that night. So good! I do this at airports, too :-)
