How to drink a capuccino in Italy

There is something to be said about a capuccino in Italy. Amazingly creamy foam followed by sweet, strong, smooth espresso. Finally, pure Italian sugar finishes it off. Absolutely delicious!

Italians only drink capuccino’s in the morning. The drink it fast! It’s a quick dive into the “bar” to drink down their morning coffee and possibly “una pasta” in fifteen minutes or less. The frown on Americans who drink capuccino in the afternoon. Espresso with two sugars is the Italian norm after 10AM in the morning!!

However, they LOVE cycling and cyclists, so we were able to sneak a capuccino in the afternoon–if the bar owner was passionate about cycling. Pantani, poor guy, was often passionately discussed amongst patrons.
